What is #TrainForWater?
In many parts of the world, accessing clean water is a daily struggle. Families often walk for hours to collect water from unsafe sources, with no infrastructure to provide safe water at home. #TrainForWater is a global cycling campaign dedicated to helping change that.
From March 17–23, 2025, Motosumo cyclists around the world will ride to support Water.org, a nonprofit that empowers communities to build sustainable water solutions—like wells, water taps, and sanitation systems—through microfinancing initiatives. For every 80 kilometers cycled during the campaign week, Motosumo will donate $1, with the goal of raising at least $1,500 to transform lives through access to safe water.
Together, we can help create a world where clean water is not a luxury but a reality for everyone.

About Water.org
Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org is a global nonprofit committed to solving the water crisis by empowering communities to build lasting access to safe water and sanitation. Their innovative approach focuses on microfinancing, providing families with affordable loans to fund essential infrastructure like water taps, wells, and toilets directly in their homes.
By combining financial tools with community-driven solutions, Water.org enables sustainable, long-term impact rather than short-term aid. Since its founding, the organization has transformed the lives of over 70 million people across 15 countries, helping to break the cycle of poverty and unlock new opportunities for health, education, and economic growth.
Cycle For Change
“The community feeling is important to our users and they push themselves harder when they train with others - either in the same room or virtually. By adding this extra layer to the workout experience, we’ll all end up doing something together for the greater good.” says co-founder and CEO Kresten Juel Jensen.
Motosumo's tech platform enables indoor cyclists from around the world to participate in impact events.
